Applicable Applications for anti-CD30 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC)
Application Notes
Working Dilution: 1:50 (or use 1.6 ul of concentrated stock per 5 x 105-cell test)
Performance
Five x 105 cultured CEM human tumor cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-CD30/R-PE at a 1:50 dilution (10ug/ml). Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FC. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 0.51 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG2b/PE negative control. Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml anti-CD30 antibody
Production
Protein A purified antibody from tissue culture supernatant was conjugated to R-Phycoerythrin through a sulfo-ester linkage. Unconjugated antibody was removed using size exclusion chromatography.Antibody conjugate is at 0.75 mg/ml with a PE : mAb molar ratio of 0.61.
QC Test Method
FC Binding to CEM cells:
Specification: >0.4 log shift ; Result: 0.82 log shift.
Specification: >0.4 log shift ; Result: 0.82 log shift.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2 - 5°C. Do not freeze! Protect from light.

Product Notes
The CD30 (Catalog #AAA14859) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The anti-human CD30-R-PE reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD30 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC). Working Dilution: 1:50 (or use 1.6 ul of concentrated stock per 5 x 105-cell test). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD30 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD30, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
