Related Product Information for anti-CD49e antibody
CD49e, the alpha 5 integrin, noncovalently associates with the beta 1integrin (CD29) to form VLA-5 integrin complex. CD49e itself is composed of two disulfide-linked chains of 135kDa and 25kDa. VLA-5 binds to RGD sequence of fibronectin, and to neural adhesion molecule L1. It is important in maintaining the integrity of endothelial monolayers, in monocyte migration into the extracellular tissues, and it also provides a co-stimulatory signal to T cells and enhances receptor and complement receptor-mediated phagocytosis.

Product Notes

The CD49e itga5 (Catalog #AAA129070) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Ms CD49e Purified Azide Free reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD49e can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), FA (Functional Assay), ICC (Immunocytochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD49e itga5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD49e, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
