(Published customer image:Mouse anti Bovine CD62L antibody, clone CC32 used for the evaluation of L-selectin expression on PBMC from M. bovis cattle by flow cytometry.Image caption:Characterisation of memory markers reveals a characteristic TEM phenotype for multifunctional CD4+ cells in naturally infected cattle. PBMC from naturally M. bovis infected cattle were stimulated with PPD-B and stained for production of cytokine by ICS flow cytometry. Histograms were first gated on singlet, live lymphocytes and gating strategies applied to allow phenotyping of cells for expression of CD44, CD45RO and CD62L. The quadrant gate defining expression of CD44 and CD62L (top panel), CD45RO and CD62L (middle panel) or CD44 and CD45RO (bottom panel) was determined using the total live-lymphocyte population, as shown for each surface marker combination in the histograms on the far left of the panel. This quadrant gating strategy was used to determine the surface phenotype of total CD4+IFN-?+, CD4+IL-2+, CD4+TNF-?+ and triple functional CD4+ cells, as shown in the other histograms. The percentage of cytokine producing CD44hiCD62Llo, CD45RO+CD62Llo and CD44hiCD45RO+ is shown for each of these CD4+ populations. The data is from one representative animal of 5 analysed.)

Related Product Information for anti-CD62L antibody
Mouse anti Bovine CD62L antibody, clone CC32 recognizes bovine L-selectin, also known as CD62L, Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1, LECAM-1 or Lymph node homing receptor.Bovine CD62L is a 370 amino acid ~90 kDa, single pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein bearing a single C-type lectin domain, an EGF-like domain and two Sushi domains (UniProt: P98131). Immunoprecipitation of peripheral blood mononuclear cell lysates with Mouse anti Bovine CD62L antibody, clone CC32 reveals a molecule of ~90 kDa when run on polyacrylamide gels under reducing conditions, slightly larger than the murine and human CD62L homologues. Bovine CD62L is expressed on subpopulations of T-lymphocytes expressing CD2, CD4 and CD8. WC1 positive γ/δ T cells also express CD62L as do a subpopulation of WC3+ve B-lymphocytes and all peripheral blood monocytes (Howard et al. 1992). Mouse anti Bovine CD62L antibody, clone CC32 has also been used successfully for the identification of CD62L on ovine peripheral blood cells by flow cytometry (Halliday et al. 2005).

Product Notes

The CD62L (Catalog #AAA50477) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MOUSE ANTI BOVINE CD62L:RPE reacts with Bovine, Sheep and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD62L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD62L for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD62L, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
