Related Product Information for anti-HLA-DRB1 antibody
HLA-DRB1 belongs to the HLA class II beta chain paralogs. The class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha (DRA) and a beta chain (DRB), both anchored in the membrane. It plays a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. Class II molecules are expressed in antigen presenting cells. The beta chain is approximately 26-28 kDa. It is encoded by 6 exons. Exon one encodes the leader peptide; exons 2 and 3 encode the two extracellular domains; exon 4 encodes the transmembrane domain; and exon 5 encodes the cytoplasmic tail. Within the DR molecule the beta chain contains all the polymorphisms specifying the peptide binding specificities. Hundreds of DRB1 alleles have been described and some alleles have increased frequencies associated with certain diseases or conditions. For example, DRB1*1302 has been related to acute and chronic hepatitis B virus persistence. There are multiple pseudogenes of this gene.

Product Notes

The HLA-DRB1 hla-drb1 (Catalog #AAA282844) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HLA-DRB1 Rabbit mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HLA-DRB1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HLA-DRB1 hla-drb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: ARAAVDTYCR HNYGVVESFT VQRRVQPKVT VYPSKTQPLQ HHNLLVCSVS GFYPGSIEVR WFLNGQEEKA GMVSTGLIQN GDWTFQTLVM LETVPRSGEV Y. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HLA-DRB1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
