Related Product Information for anti-IDH1 antibody
Isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) is an enzyme that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate, producing alpha-ketoglutarate (alpha-ketoglutarate) and CO2. In humans, IDH exists in three isoforms: IDH3 catalyzes the third step of the citric acid cycle while converting NAD+ to NADH in the mitochondria. The isoforms IDH1 and IDH2 catalyze the same reaction outside the context of the citric acid cycle and use NADP+ as a cofactor instead of NAD+. They localize to the cytosol as well as the mitochondrion and peroxisome. Mutations in IDH1 are also implicated in cancer. Originally mutations in IDH1 were detected in an integrated genomic analysis of human glioblastoma multiforme. In addition to being mutated in diffuse gliomas, IDH1 has also been shown to harbor mutations in human acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

Product Notes

The IDH1 idh1 (Catalog #AAA312088) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Isocitrate Dehydrogenase/IDH1 Antibody reacts with Human, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Isocitrate Dehydrogenase/IDH1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IDH1 idh1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Isocitrate Dehydrogenase/IDH1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
