Rat anti-Rat, Mouse MHC II Monoclonal Antibody | anti-MHCII antibody
Anti-MHC II [P7/7]
FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry)
(Flow-cytometry using the anti-MHC II antibody P7/7 . Mouse splenocytes were stained with anti-Fluorescein IgG antibody (4-4-20; isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG1 version of P7/7 at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-mouse IgG AlexaFluor 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
IF (Immunofluorescence)
(Immunofluorescence staining of mouse splenocytes using anti-MHC II antibody P7/7. Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed mouse splenocytes immobilized on Shi-fix cover-slips and stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of P7/7 at 10ug/ml followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2ug/ml), showing membrane staining in a subset of cells. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with anti-Fluorescein antibody followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)
This antibody was raised by immunising DA rats with PVG.R8 rat spleen cells. Splenocytes from immunised rats were then isolated, and fused to the myeloma line NSO/u to generate stable hybridomas.
Note on publication: Describes the original generation and characterisation of this antibody.

Product Notes
The MHCII (Catalog #AAA72095) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-MHC II [P7/7] reacts with Rat, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MHC II can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), IP (Immunoprecipitation), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MHCII for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC II, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
