Related Product Information for anti-MAPK3 antibody
Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) are a widely conserved family of serine/threonine protein kinases involved in many cellular programs such as cell proliferation, differentiation, motility, and death. The p44/42 MAPK (Erk1/2) signaling pathway can be activated in response to a diverse range of extracellular stimuli including mitogens, growth factors, and cytokines and is an important target in the identification and treatment of cancer. Upon stimulation, a sequential three-part protein kinase cascade is initiated, consisting of a MAP kinase kinase kinase (MAPKKK or MAP3K), a MAP kinase kinase (MAPKK or MAP2K), and a MAP kinase (MAPK). Multiple p44/42 MAP3Ks have been identified, including members of the Raf family as well as Mos and Tpl2/Cot.

Product Notes

The MAPK3 mapk3 (Catalog #AAA322676) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The p44/42 MAPK (Erk1/2) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's p44/42 MAPK (Erk1/2) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAPK3 mapk3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "p44/42 MAPK (Erk1/2), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
