Short Description: Our PAX7 antibody (mAb)(Clone 2F12H4) was raised in a Rat host. It has been validated for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Mouse samples.
Background: PAX7 (Paired-box protein 7, PAX7) is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. These proteins are DNA binding transcriptional activators and typically contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during mammalian development and cancer growth. The specific function of the PAX7 gene is unknown but speculated to play a role in myogenesis. PAX7 is involved in the specification of satellite cells in skeletal muscle. PAX7 can bind to DNA as a heterodimer with Pax-3.

Product Notes
The PAX7 (Catalog #AAA59932) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PAX7 antibody (mAb)(Clone 2F12H4) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PAX7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PAX7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PAX7, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
