Related Product Information for anti-CA9 antibody
Renal Cell Carcinoma, also known as a Gurnistical Tumor, is the most common form of kidney cancer arising from the renal tubule. It is also the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. Initial treatment is surgery because it is notoriously resistant to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, although some cases respond to immunotherapy. Renal Cell Carcinoma antibody recognizes a 200 kDa glycoprotein localized in the brush border of the proximal renal tubule. This antibody immunoreacts with approximately 90% of Primary Renal Cell Carcinomas and approximately 85% of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinomas. Other tumors that may react with this antibody are Parathyroid Adenoma, an occasional Breast Carcinoma. Nephroblastoma, Oncocytoma, Mesoblastic Nephroma, Transitional Cell Carcinoma, and Angiomyolipoma are not labeled with this antibody.

Product Notes

The CA9 ca9 (Catalog #AAA59236) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Renal Cell Carcinoma reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Renal Cell Carcinoma, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
