Rat anti-Human Repulsive Guidance Molecule B (RGMB) Monoclonal Antibody | anti-RGMB antibody
Rat anti-human Repulsive Guidance Molecule B (RGMB) monoclonal antibody
Long term: Store at -20°C (avoid repeated freezing and thawing)
Application Data
(Fig.2: CGE analysis of purified BFH-5C9 monoclonal antibody. Lane 1: molecular weight marker, Lane 2: 2 ug of purified BFH-5C9 antibody. Proteins were separated by CGE (capillary gel electrophoresis, Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer). Internal control bands (240 kDa / 7 kDa / 4,5 kDa).)
FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry)
(Fig.1: AAA71493 BOSC23 cells were transiently transfected with an expression vector encoding either the ecd of human RGMB (red filled curve), or an irrelevant protein (control transfectant, black curve). Binding of BFH-5C9 was detected with a PE-conjugated secondary antibody. A positive signal was obtained only with human RGMB.)
The RGM domain family member B (RGMB) is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored member of the Repulsive Guidance Molecule family which plays a role in patterning of the developing nervous system (1). There is a potential association between RGMs and cancer bone metastasis, as RGMs coordinate bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling. RGMB may act as a negative regulator in vitro in breast cancer and prostate cancer through BMP signalling (2,3). Furthermore, aberrant expression of RGMs was indicated in breast cancer (4). The perturbed expression was associated with disease progression and poor prognosis. This antibody is recommended for applications under non-denaturing conditions.

Product Notes
The RGMB rgmb (Catalog #AAA71493) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat anti-human Repulsive Guidance Molecule B (RGMB) monoclonal antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Repulsive Guidance Molecule B (RGMB) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, ELISA, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RGMB rgmb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Repulsive Guidance Molecule B (RGMB), Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
