Specificity
The ubiquitin (Ub) pathway involves three sequential enzymatic steps that facilitate the conjugation of Ub and Ub-like molecules to specific protein substrates. The first step requires the ATP-dependent activation of the Ub C-terminus and the assembly of multi-Ub chains by the Ub-activating enzyme known as the E1 component. The Ub chain is then conjugated to the Ubconjugating enzyme (E2) to generate an intermediate Ub-E2 complex. The Ub-ligase (E3) then catalyzes the transfer of Ub from E2 to the appropriate protein substrate. UBE2C, also designated UBCH10 in human, is an E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzyme for the anaphase promoting complex (APC), which coordinates mitosis and G1 by sequentially promoting the degradation of key cell-cycle regulators. UBE2C is overexpressed in many different types of cancers and may be a potential therapeutic target.

Product Notes
The UBE2C ube2c (Catalog #AAA215376) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Ubiquitin-conjugating Enzyme E2C/UBCH10 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ubiquitin-conjugating Enzyme E2C/UBCH10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UBE2C ube2c for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ubiquitin-conjugating Enzyme E2C/UBCH10, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
