Related Product Information for anti-WT antibody
Wilms' tumor (WT) is an embryonal malignancy of the kidney that affects 1 in 10, 000 infants and, like retinoblastoma, is observed in both sporadic and inherited forms. The Wilms' tumor locus has been mapped at chromosome 11p13 as a tumor suppressor gene which encodes a DNA binding protein with four zinc fingers and a glutamine-proline rich amino-terminus. The Wilms' tumor protein (WT1) binds the DNA sequence GCGGGGGCG, a recognition element common to the early growth response (Egr) family of Zn2+ finger transcriptional activators. However, in contrast to Egr transcription factors, WT1 behaves as a transcriptional repressor in transient transfection assays with synthetic promotor constructs.

Product Notes

The WT wt1 (Catalog #AAA30123) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Wilms Tumor Protein Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Wilms Tumor Protein can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC). WB: 1:1000-1:2000 IHC: 1:100-1:200 ICC/IF: 1:50-1:200 FC: 1:20-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WT wt1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Wilms Tumor Protein, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
