Principle of the Assay: The AAA Biotech' Mouse CXCL13 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse CXCL13 in Cell Culture Supernatants, Serum, Plasma. This assay employs an antibody specific for Mouse CXCL13 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and CXCL13 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Mouse CXCL13 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CXCL13 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.
Background/Introduction: C-X-C motif chemokine 13 (CXCL13), also known as B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), is a protein that in humans is encoded by theCXCL13 gene. CXCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family, and it was located on sequence maps to 4q21, near the genes encoding most CXC chemokines. In T-lymphocytes, CXCL13 expression is thought to reflect a germinal center origin of the T-cell. Hence, expression of CXCL13 in T-cell lymphomas, such as Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, is thought to reflect a germinal center origin of the neoplastic T-cells.Target Related Publications.

Product Notes
The Mouse CXCL13 cxcl13 (Catalog #AAA105559) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA105559 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse CXCL13. AAA Biotech's CXCL13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (Sandwich ELISA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CXCL13 cxcl13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXCL13, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
