Related Product Information for anti-ACER1 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against ACER1. It was validated on Western Blot
Target Description: ACER1 hydrolyzes the sphingolipid ceramide into sphingosine and free fatty acid at an optimal pH of 8.0. It has a highly restricted substrate specificity for the natural stereoisomer of ceramide with D-erythro-sphingosine but not D-ribo-phytosphingosine or D-erythro-dihydrosphingosine as a backbone. It may have a role in regulating the levels of bioactive lipids ceramide and sphingosine 1-phosphate, as well as complex sphingolipids.

Product Notes
The ACER1 acer1 (Catalog #AAA201031) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ACER1 antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Human, Pig, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ACER1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACER1 acer1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: VNAYALNSIA LHILYIVCQE YRKTSNKELR HLIEVSVVLW AVALTSWISD. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ACER1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
