Related Product Information for anti-AZI1 antibody
Component of centriolar satellites, which build a complex and dynamic network required to regulate cilia/flagellum formation. During normal and stress-induced ciliogenesis, its non-ubiquitinated form is rapidly displaced from centriolar satellites and recruited to centrosome/basal bodies in a p38 MAPK-dependent manner. In contrast, in proliferating cells, MIB1-mediated ubiquitination induces its sequestration within centriolar satellites, precluding untimely cilia formation initiation. Acts also as a negative regulator for the trafficking from the centriolar satellite BBSome protein complex to the cilia. Plays a role in sperm flagellar formation; may be involved in the regulation of intraflagellar transport (IFT) and/or intramanchette (IMT) trafficking, which are important for axoneme extension and/or cargo delivery to the nascent sperm tail. Required for optimal cell proliferation and cell cycle progression; may play a role in the regulation of genome stability and centriole duplication in non-ciliogenic cells.Kikuno R., DNA Res. 6:197-205(1999).Andersen J.S., Nature 426:570-574(2003).Olsen J.V., Cell 127:635-648(2006).

Product Notes
The AZI1 cep131 (Catalog #AAA307768) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AZI1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AZI1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AZI1 cep131 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AZI1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
