Related Product Information for anti-CACNB3 antibody
Voltage-sensitive calcium channels (VSCCs) mediate the entry of calcium ions into excitable cells and are also involved in a variety of calcium-dependent processes, including muscle contraction, hormone or neurotransmitter release, gene expression, cell motility, cell division and cell death. Long-lasting (L-type) calcium channels belong to the 'high-voltage activated' (HVA) group. They are blocked by dihydropyridines (DHP), phenylalkylamines, benzothiazepines, and by omega-agatoxin-IIIA (omega-aga-IIIA). They are however insensitive to omega-conotoxin-GVIA (omega-ctx-GVIA) and omega-agatoxin-IVA (omega-aga-IVA). The overall conclusion is that deletion of the beta 3 subunit affects at least three distinct types of High voltage activated Ca2+ channel (L,N and P/Q types), but no single type of channel is solely dependent on beta 3.

Product Notes
The CACNB3 cacnb3 (Catalog #AAA60503) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The b3 Calcium Channel reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's b3 Calcium Channel can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CACNB3 cacnb3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "b3 Calcium Channel, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
