BRD1 (bromodomain containing 1) is a bromodomain containing protein that also bears a PHD-type zinc-finger and a PWWP domain. Although little is known about its specific function, BRD1 has been found to be a component of the MOZ/MORF complex which is involved in histone acetylation.
