Related Product Information for anti-CA3 antibody
Background: Carbonic anhydrase III(CA3) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the CA3 gene. CA3 is a member of a multigene family(at least six separate genes are known) that encode carbonic anhydrase isozymes. The gene spans 10.3 kb and contains seven exons and six introns. Using a cDNA clone of the CA3 gene in the study of human-rodent hybrids, the gene was mapped to chromosome 8 which carries a cluster of CA genes. CA3 is found in high concentration in muscle. CA3 is used in conjunction with creatine kinase detection of the carrier state for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Product Notes
The CA3 ca3 (Catalog #AAA45008) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Carbonic Anhydrase III antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Carbonic Anhydrase III can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CA3 ca3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Carbonic Anhydrase III, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
