Related Product Information for anti-CARD10 antibody
Apoptosis is related to many diseases and development. Cell death signals are transduced by death domain (DD), death effector domain (DED), and caspase recruitment domain (CARD) containing molecules. CARD containing proteins include some caspases, Apaf-1, CARD4, IAPs, RICK, ARC, RAIDD, Bcl-10, and ASC. A novel CARD-containing protein was recently identified and designated CARD10. This protein belongs to the membrane-associated guanylate kinase-like (MAGUK) family of proteins that can function as molecular scaffolds that assist assembly of signal transduction molecules. CARD 10 interacts with Bcl-10, a Bcl protein that promotes apoptosis, caspase-9 maturation and activation of NF-kB. CARD 10 and the related protein CARMA1 also associate with NEMO, the regulatory subunit of the IkK complex, demonstrating its importance in the regulation of NF-kB transcription factor activation.

Product Notes

The CARD10 card10 (Catalog #AAA304849) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CARD10 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CARD10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CARD10 card10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CARD10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
