Related Product Information for anti-CD193 antibody
Rabbit anti Human CD193 antibody recognizes human CD193, otherwise known as CC chemokine receptor 3 (CCR3), a seven-helix transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor which, along with CCR5 and CXCR4, acts as a principal receptor for the fusion and entry of HIV into target cells. CD193 is expressed by eosinophils, basophils, mast cells, microglia, Th2 helper cells and some epithelial cells. CD193 acts as a receptor for several CC chemokines including monocyte chemoattractant proteins (MCP) -1, -2, -3 and -4, MIP-1a, MIP-1beta, and RANTES. The eotaxin subgroup of CC chemokines act as specific agonists for CD193, and this interaction has become a focus area for studies into the infection of microglia by HIV (He, J. et al. 1997) and allergy research (Holse, M. et al. 2006). Rabbit anti Human CD193 antibody has been used successfully for the detection of human CD193 by immunohistochemistry on formalin fixed, paraffin embedded intervertebral disc tissue (Gruber et al. 2014).

Product Notes

The CD193 ccr3 (Catalog #AAA49912) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RABBIT ANTI HUMAN CD193 reacts with Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD193 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD193 ccr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD193, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
