Related Product Information for anti-CD86 antibody
Description: Receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte proliferation and interleukin-2 production, by binding CD28 or CTLA-4. May play a critical role in the early events of T-cell activation and costimulation of naive T-cells, such as deciding between immunity and allergy that is made by T-cells within 24 hours after activation. Isoform 2 interferes with the formation of CD86 clusters, and thus acts as a negative regulator of T cell activation.

Product Notes

The CD86 (Catalog #AAA268978) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD86 reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Pig, Cow, Sheep and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD86 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD86 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD86, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
