Related Product Information for anti-CHGA antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the
chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory
proteins. It is found in secretory vesicles of neurons and
endocrine cells. This gene product is a precursor to three
biologically active peptides; vasostatin, pancreastatin, and
parastatin. These peptides act as autocrine or paracrine negative
modulators of the neuroendocrine system. Other peptides, including
chromostatin, beta-granin, WE-14 and GE-25, are also derived from
the full-length protein. However, biological activities for these
molecules have not been shown.

Product Notes

The CHGA chga (Catalog #AAA285162) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 376-404. The CMGA Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CMGA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), IF (Immunofluorescence), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CHGA chga for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CMGA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
