Additionalcomplex functions may be a consequence ofits influence on mRNA expression. May beinvolved in the deadenylation-dependentdegradation of mRNAs through the 3'-UTRAU-rich element-mediated mechanism. Involved in deadenylation-dependentdegradation of CDKN1B mRNA. Its mRNAdeadenylase activity can be inhibited byTOB1. Mediates cell proliferation and cellsurvival and prevents cellular senescence.

Tissue Location
Highly expressed in placenta, skeletal muscle, pancreas, testis and leukocytes. Weakly expressed in heart, spleen andthymus.
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
