Related Product Information for anti-HSPA5 antibody
In cooperation with other chaperones, HSP70s stabilize preexistent proteins against aggregation and mediate the folding of newly translated polypeptides in the cytosol as well as within organelles. The HSP70s in mitochondria and the endoplasmic reticulum play an additional role by providing a driving force for protein translocation. They are involved in signal transduction pathways in cooperation with HSP90. They participate in all these processes through their ability to recognize nonnative conformations of other proteins. They bind extended peptide segments with a net hydrophobic character exposed by polypeptides during translation and membrane translocation, or following stress-induced damage.

Product Notes

The HSPA5 hspa5 (Catalog #AAA28738) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HSPA5 Antibody reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HSPA5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HSPA5 hspa5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HSPA5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
