Related Product Information for anti-IRF3 antibody
Interferons (IFN)s are involved in a multitude of immune interactions during viral infections and play a major role in both the induction and regulation of innate and adaptive antiviral mechanisms. During infection, host-virus interactions signal downstream molecules such as transcription factors such as IFN regulatory factor-3 (IRF3) which can act to stimulate transcription of IFN-alpha/beta genes. IRF3 is present in an inactive form in the cytoplasm of most cells. Following viral infection, IRF3 can be activated by IkB kinase-eta and TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1), whereupon IRF3 translocates to the nucleus. IRF3 can also be activated by stimulation of toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) by dsRNA. IRF3 exists as at least two distinct isoforms.

Product Notes

The IRF3 irf3 (Catalog #AAA303587) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IRF3 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IRF3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IRF3 irf3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IRF3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
