Related Product Information for anti-MED7 antibody
The activation of gene transcription is a multistep
process that is triggered by factors that recognize transcriptional
enhancer sites in DNA. These factors work with co-activators to
direct transcriptional initiation by the RNA polymerase II
apparatus. The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the
CRSP (cofactor required for SP1 activation) complex, which, along
with TFIID, is required for efficient activation by SP1. This
protein is also a component of other multisubunit complexes e.g.
thyroid hormone receptor-(TR-) associated proteins which interact
with TR and facilitate TR function on DNA templates in conjunction
with initiation factors and cofactors. Two transcript variants
encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided

Product Notes

The MED7 med7 (Catalog #AAA283797) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 83-111. The MED7 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Mouse, Pig) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MED7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ELISA, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MED7 med7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MED7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
