Target Description: MSX2 is a member of the muscle segment homeobox gene family. The protein is a transcriptional repressor whose normal activity may establish a balance between survival and apoptosis of neural crest-derived cells required for proper craniofacial morphogenesis. The protein may also have a role in promoting cell growth under certain conditions and may be an important target for the RAS signaling pathways. Mutations in this gene are associated with parietal foramina 1 and craniosynostosis type 2.This gene encodes a member of the muscle segment homeobox gene family. Product Notes

The MSX2 msx2 (Catalog #AAA198251) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MSX2 antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Goat, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MSX2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MSX2 msx2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: MASPSKGNDL FSPDEEGPAV VAGPGPGPGG AEGAAEERRV KVSSLPFSVE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MSX2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
