Related Product Information for anti-CHRNA1 antibody
Background: Aquaporin 5, also known as AQP5, is a water channel protein. The aquaporins(AQPs) are a family of more than 10 homologous watertransporting proteins expressed in many mammalian epithelia and endothelia. At least five AQPs are expressed in the eye: AQP0(MIP) in lensfiber, AQP1 in cornea endothelium, ciliary and lens epithelia and trabecular meshwork, AQP3 in conjunctiva, AQP4 in ciliary epithelium andretinal Müller cells, and AQP5 in corneal and lacrimal gland epithelia. Among the seven human aquaporins cloned to date(AQPs 0-6), genesencoding the four most closely related aquaporins(AQP0, AQP2, AQP5, and AQP6) have been mapped to chromosome band 12q13, suggestingan aquaporin family gene cluster at this locus. Aquaporin 5 plays a role in the generation of saliva, tears and pulmonary secretions.

Product Notes
The CHRNA1 chrna1 (Catalog #AAA44997) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1 antibody reacts with Reacts with: Rat Predicted to work with: Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CHRNA1 chrna1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor alpha 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
