This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against Rel. It was validated on Western Blot
Target Description: This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the Rel homology domain/immunoglobulin-like fold, plexin, transcription factor (RHD/IPT) family. Members of this family regulate genes involved in apoptosis, inflammation, the immune response, and oncogenic processes. This proto-oncogene plays a role in the survival and proliferation of B lymphocytes. Mutation or amplification of this gene is associated with B-cell lymphomas, including Hodgkin's lymphoma. Single nucleotide polymorphisms in this gene are associated with susceptibility to ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Product Notes
The REL rel (Catalog #AAA198154) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The REL Antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's REL can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the REL rel for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: FSCVDNGLMN EPGLSDDANN PTFVQSSHYS VNTLQSEQLS DPFTYGFFKI. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "REL, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
