Protein Function
Component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. Mediator functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. Mediator is recruited to promoters by interactions with regulatory proteins and serves as a scaffold for the assembly of a functional preinitiation complex with RNA polymerase II and the general transcription factors.
Preparation and Storage
At -20 degree C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4 degree C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 degree C for six months.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

WB (Western Blot)

(Figure 1. Western blot analysis of WDR13 using anti-WDR13 antibody (AAA127777).Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel)/90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 ug of sample under reducing conditions.Lane 1: human Hela whole cell lysates,Lane 2: human A549 whole cell lysates. After electrophoresis, proteins were transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane at 150 mA for 50-90 minutes. Blocked the membrane with 5% non-fat milk/TBS for 1.5 hour at RT. The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-WDR13 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (#AAA127777) at 0.5ug/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000 for 1.5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for WDR13 at approximately 56 kDa. The expected band size for WDR13 is at 54 kDa.)

Product Notes

The WDR13 wdr13 (Catalog #AAA127777) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-WDR13 Antibody Picoband reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WDR13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WDR13 wdr13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WDR13, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
