Related Product Information for RAC2 recombinant protein
Description: Recombinant full length human RAC2 was expressed in E Coli cells using an N-terminal His tag.
Scientific Background: RAC2 is a GTPase which belongs to the RAS superfamily of small GTP-binding proteins and is involved in a diverse array of cellular events, including the control of cell growth, cytoskeletal reorganization and the activation of protein kinases. Knockdown of the gene for both RAC1 and RAC2 completely blocks B-cell development indicating that both GTPases are required to transduce B-cell receptor (BCR) signals leading to proliferation, survival, and the upregulation of BAFF receptor (1). Furthermore, RAC2 is required for the transfer of electrons from NADPH to cytochrome b-associated FAD, then to cytochrome b heme, and finally to oxygen (2).

Product Notes

The RAC2 rac2 (Catalog #AAA73115) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full length. AAA Biotech's RAC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RAC2 rac2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RAC2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
