Recombinant Human SPARC is a protein consisting of 286 amino acid residues, and migrates as an approximateley 43 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.
Activity
The bilogical activity was determined by the ability to induce alkaline phosphatase activity in Mouse 3T3 with linear range of 0.3-0.6 ug/mL
Reconstitution
Centrifuge vial to ensure maximal product extraction, recommended 20 sec. , 5K RPM. Follow by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. If further dilutions are required it is recommended to dilute product in the formulation buffer as given in the presentation.
Preparation and Storage
Store lyophilized product at room tempeture for 3 weeks or at -20°C for 12 months.
Store reconstituted product at 2-8°C for 3 weeks or at -20°C for 12 months.
*For long term storage we recommend the addition of a carrier protein at 0.1%.
*Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
