Principle of the Assay: The Mouse TLT1 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse TLT1 in Cell Culture Supernates, Serum, Plasma. This assay employs an antibody specific for Mouse TLT1 coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and TLT1 present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Mouse TLT1 antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of TLT1 bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.
Background: Trem-like transcript 1 protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TREML1 gene. This gene encodes a member of the triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like (TREM) family. The encoded protein is a type 1 single Ig domain orphan receptor localized to the alpha-granule membranes of platelets. This protein is involved in platelet aggregation, inflammation, and cellular activation and has been linked to Gray platelet syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Product Notes
The Mouse TREML1 treml1 (Catalog #AAA263148) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA263148 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse TREML1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TLT1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
