Related Product Information for TSHR recombinant protein
Description: Recombinant fragment human TSHR protein (22-260 aa) with 26 kDa with his tag
Background: Thyroid stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR), also known as Thyrotropin receptor is a member of the leucine-rich repeat-containing G protein-coupled receptors. G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the largest family of plasma membrane receptors. They mediate the effects of several endogenous cues and serve as important pharmacological targets. TSHR is primarily found on the surface of the thyroid epithelial cells. Both TSHR and its ligand TSH have evolved to acquire specificity, minimize cross-reaction to other glycoprotein hormone receptors, and modulate cognate interaction (and thereby thyrotropic activity).

Product Notes
The TSHR tshr (Catalog #AAA59126) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E.coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TSHR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TSHR tshr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TSHR, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
