Related Product Information for USP8 recombinant protein
Recombinant human USP8 (630-end) was expressed in E Coli cells using an N-terminal His tag. The USP8 gene accession number is NM_005154.
USP8 (ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 8) is a member of the ubiquitin-specific processing protease family of proteins and is involved in the regulation of endosomal ubiquitin processes for endosome morphology, cargo sorting and membrane trafficking at the early endosome stage. USP8 deubiquitinates EPS15 and regulates EGFR degradation and MAPK signaling via removing conjugated ubiquitin from EGFR (1). USP8 also interacts with spermatid ESCRT-0 and microtubule structures in mouse species, suggesting that it may be involved in acrosome biogenesis (2).

Product Notes
The USP8 (Catalog #AAA74098) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's USP8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Activity Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the USP8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "USP8, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
