Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative competitive enzyme immunoassay technique. A recombinant human ErbB2 antigen has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards or samples are premixed with biotin-labeled antibody and then pipetted into the wells.Trastuzumab in the sample competitively binds to the pre-coated protein with biotin-labeled Trastuzumab. After washing away any unbound substances, Streptavidin-HRP is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in inversely proportion to the amount of Trastuzumab bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Intended Uses: Used for the quantitative determination of Trastuzumab concentration in serum and plasma.

Product Notes
The Trastuzumab (Catalog #AAA120184) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Trastuzumab, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
