Related Product Information for EPHB2 recombinant protein
Recombinant human EPHB2 (611-893) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. The gene accession number is NM_004442.
EPHB2 is a member of the EpHfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases that mediate neurodevelopmental processes such as boundary formation, axon guidance, vasculogenesis, and cell migration. EPHB2 has been shown to associate with the non-receptor tyrosine kinase Abl and activated EPHB2 causes tyrosine phosphorylation of Abl and regulates its activity (1). EPHB2 is overexpressed in a number of tumors particularly glioblastoma and this increases glioma cell migration and invasion (2).

Product Notes
The EPHB2 (Catalog #AAA73520) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's EPHB2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EPHB2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EPHB2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
