Supplied as a liquid in 100mM Tris Chloride, 500mM Sodium Chloride, pH 8.0, with Glycerol as a stabilizer, and 0.1% Sodium Azide as a preservative.

Biological Significance
Immunoglobulin M, or IgM for short, is a basic antibody that is produced by B cells. It is the primary antibody against A and B antigens on red blood cells. IgM is by far the physically largest antibody in the human circulatory system.

This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4°C prior to opening. For extended storage, mix with an equal volume of glycerol, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
