Activity Note
One unit of activity is defined as the amount of enzyme which digests hemoglobin-releasing peptides which are soluble in 10% TCA. The reaction is measured by an increase of an A280 of 1.0 per 60 minutes at 37o C. Substrate: acid denatured hemoglobin (0.2% in reaction mixture). Bu er: 0.1 M formate, pH 3.3.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute with 165ul of distilled water for a final concentration of 0.303mg/mL. For further dilution, use the lyophilization buffer.
