Related Product Information for M6PR recombinant protein
M6PR is a member of the P-type lectin family. P-type lectins play a critical role in lysosome function through the specific transport of mannose-6-phosphate-containing acid hydrolases from the Golgi complex to lysosomes. This protein functions as a homodimer and requires divalent cations for ligand binding. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. A pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome X. Recombinant human M6PR protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques..

Product Notes

The M6PR m6pr (Catalog #AAA48858) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's M6PR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the M6PR m6pr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSTEEKTCD LVGEKGKESE KELALVKRLK PLFNKSFEST VGQGSDTYIY IFRVCREAGN HTSGAGLVQI NKSNGKETVV GRLNETHIFN GSNWIMLIYK GGDEYDNHCG KEQRRAVVMI SCNRHTLADN FNPVSEERGK VQDCFYLFEM DSSLACSPEI SH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "M6PR, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
