Related Product Information for JNK2 recombinant protein
Description: Recombinant full-length human JNK2 was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag.
Scientific Background: JNK2 is a member of the JNK family that acts as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals and is involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. JNK2 targets specific transcription factors, and mediates immediate-early gene expression in response to various cell stimuli. Both UV radiation and the proinflammatory cytokine TNFalpha can induce JNK2. JNK2 play a main role in the regulation of regional specific apoptosis (1) during early brain development and providing protection against autoimmune diabetes (2).

Product Notes

The JNK2 mapk9 (Catalog #AAA73020) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full Length. AAA Biotech's JNK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JNK2 mapk9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JNK2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
