Related Product Information for anti-CTNNB1 antibody
Description: Mouse IgG monoclonal antibody for beta Catenin detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P, ICC, FCM in Human; Mouse; Rat.
Background: Catenins are proteins found in complexes with cadherin cell adhesion molecules of animal cells. The first two catenins that were identified became known as alpha-catenin and beta-catenin. Alpha-catenin can bind to beta-catenin and can also bind actin. Beta-catenin binds the cytoplasmic domain of some cadherins. Beta-catenin is an adherens junction protein. It plays an important role in various aspects of liver biology including liver development (both embryonic and postnatal), liver regeneration following partial hepatectomy. HGF-induced hepatpomegaly, liver zonation, and pathogenesis of liver cancer.

Product Notes

The CTNNB1 ctnnb1 (Catalog #AAA125123) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-beta Catenin Antibody (monoclonal, 1F6) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's beta Catenin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTNNB1 ctnnb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "beta Catenin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
