Related Product Information for anti-CD41/CD61 antibody
CD41 (platelet glycoprotein IIb, integrin alpha IIb) is composed of two subunits (120kDa transmembrane alpha chain and 23kDa extracellular beta chain) and interacts with CD61 (platelet glycoprotein IIIa, integrin beta 3) in the presence of calcium to form a Functional Application (FUNC)tional adhesive protein receptor. CD41/CD61 complex is one of the earliest markers of the megakaryocytic lineage. Upon blood vessel damage, this receptor binds to a variety of proteins including von Willebrand factor, fibrinogen, fibronectin and vitronectin, and it is involved in platelet aggregation.

Product Notes
The CD41/CD61 (Catalog #AAA129092) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Hu CD41/CD61 (PAC-1 epitope) Purified reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD41/CD61 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ICC (Immunocytochemistry), IP (Immunoprecipitation), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD41/CD61 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD41/CD61, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
