Related Product Information for anti-CD5 antibody
MBS520186 anti-rat CD5 monoclonal antibody recognizes a determinant expressed on all rat thymocytes and peripheral T lymphocytes. It has been determined that there are 15,000 antigenic sites for MBS520186 per cell on thymocytes and 30,000 on peripheral T cells. This antibody does not bind to B cells, macrophages, NK cells or mast cells. No cross-reactivity has been detected with non-lymphoid cells in intestine, thymus, spleen or lymph node. The antigen recognized by MBS520186 is a surface glycoprotein of Mr 69 kDa, and is most likely the homologue of the mouse Ly 1 and human CD5 antigen. The antigen has also been shown to have an important functional role in T cell activation and differentiation indicating a use for this antibody in related studies. This antibody may be employed to label cells with anti-mouse Ig conjugated to fluorescein, peroxidase or 125 I. This clone is reported to work with frozen and paraffin sections.

Product Notes
The CD5 cd5 (Catalog #AAA74161) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Rat CD5 Biotin (Clone OX-19) (mouse IgG1) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD5 cd5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD5, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
