Related Product Information for anti-p53 antibody
tumor protein p53(TP53) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein containing transcriptional activation, DNA binding, and oligomerization domains. The encoded protein responds to diverse cellular stresses to regulate expression of target genes, thereby inducing cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, senescence, DNA repair, or changes in metabolism. Mutations in this gene are associated with a variety of human cancers, including hereditary cancers such as Li-Fraumeni syndrome. Alternative splicing of this gene and the use of alternate promoters result in multiple transcript variants and isoforms. Additional isoforms have also been shown to result from the use of alternate translation initiation codons (PMIDs; 12032546, 20937277). [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2013]

Product Notes
The p53 tp53 (Catalog #AAA30804) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The p53 Monoclonal Antibody (6C4) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's p53 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: 1:2000 IHC: 1:200 IF: 1:100-200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the p53 tp53 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "p53, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
