Related Product Information for anti-NKG2D antibody
The NKG2D (Natural Killer Group 2 Member D) protein is an activating receptor that enables NK and CD8 + T cells to recognize and eliminate infected or transformed endogenous cells. However, an incorrect regulation of this receptor on immune cells also appears to lead to the development of autoimmune diseases such as type I diabetes, celiac disease and RA.This antibody positively reacts with NKG2D on CD8-positive T cells and to CD56-positive natural killer cells. The binding was confirmed FACS analysis (Steigerwald, 2008).

Product Notes

The NKG2D klrk1 (Catalog #AAA72273) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-NKG2D [6E5A7], Mouse IgG2b reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NKG2D can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking, FCM/FACS (Flow Cytometry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NKG2D klrk1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NKG2D, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
