Related Product Information for PI3K recombinant protein
Recombinant full-length human p110d (E1021K) and human p85a were co-expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal His tag on both proteins. The p110d gene accession number is NM_005026; p85a is, NM_181523.
PI3K (p110 delta /p85 alpha) is a member of the PI3K family that phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring (1). PI3K (p110delta/p85alpha) plays a role in oncogenic transformation and is consistently expressed at a high level in blast cells from AML. PI3K (p110delta/p85alpha) can play a selective role in the amplification of phosphatidylinositol (3,4,5) trisphosphate (PIP3) levels that lead to neutrophil polarization, and regulates directional migration, but not random locomotion (2). PI3K (p110delta/p85alpha) signaling pathway is involved in immune responses relevant to the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

Product Notes
The PI3K (Catalog #AAA73811) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Sf9 insect cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's PI3K (p110 delta (E1021K)/p85 alpha) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB (Western Blot), Kinase Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PI3K for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PI3K (p110 delta (E1021K)/p85 alpha), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
