Related Product Information for anti-AP2A1 antibody
This gene encodes the alpha 1 adaptin subunit of the adaptor protein 2 (AP-2) complex found in clathrin coated vesicles. The AP-2 complex is a heterotetramer consisting of two large adaptins (alpha or beta), a medium adaptin (mu), and a small adaptin (sigma). The complex is part of the protein coat on the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles which links clathrin to receptors in vesicles. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding two different isoforms.

Product Notes

The AP2A1 ap2a1 (Catalog #AAA52380) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat Polyclonal to Human AP2A1 / AP2-Alpha reacts with Gibbon, Chimpanzee, Dog, Gorilla, Horse, Human, Monkey, Mouse, Pig, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AP2A1 / AP2-Alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, WB (Western Blot), IHC (Immunohistochemistry). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP2A1 ap2a1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AP2A1 / AP2-Alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
