Contents
Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
Reconstitution
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20°C. After reconstitution, store at 4°C. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Background: C5a is a protein fragment released from complement component C5. This gene is mapped to 9q33.2. The protein encoded by this gene is the fifth component of complement, which plays an important role in inflammatory and cell killing processes. This protein is comprised of alpha and beta polypeptide chains that are linked by a disulfide bridge.
