Related Product Information for anti-MAPK3 antibody
MAPK3 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase 3, also known as ERK1) is a Protein Coding gene. The protein encoded by the ERK1 gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. 3 alternatively spliced human isoforms have been reported. The protein is a serine/threonine kinase which acts as an essential component of the MAP kinase signal transduction pathway. MAPK1/ERK2 and MAPK3/ERK1 are the 2 MAPKs that play an important role in the MAPK/ERK cascade. They participate also in a signaling cascade initiated by activated KIT and KITLG/SCF. ERK1 is widely expressed in the small intestine, colon, and other tissues. Diseases associated with MAPK3 include Neutrophil Migration and Pertussis.

Product Notes

The MAPK3 mapk3 (Catalog #AAA254408) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ERK1/MAPK3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ERK1/MAPK3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IP (Immunoprecipitation), IF (Immunofluorescence), ICC (Immunocytochemistry), WB (Western Blot). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAPK3 mapk3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ERK1/MAPK3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
